Getting Started

For NDIS-funded supports, yes, you’ll need an active NDIS plan with relevant funding categories. For iCare supports, funding comes through workers compensation or CTP insurance. If you’re not sure about your eligibility, call us and we’ll help you work it out.

For standard supports, we can typically begin within 1–2 weeks. For urgent or complex care needs, we can often start within 48 hours. The timeline depends on your location, the type of support needed, and worker availability.

Yes. We carefully match you with support workers based on your preferences, personality, and goals. If the match isn’t right, we’ll find someone who is, no questions asked.

Switching providers is straightforward. We’ll handle the transition and work with your support coordinator to ensure there’s no gap in care.

NDIS Funding

Most disability care falls under Core Supports (Assistance with Daily Life, Transport, Social & Community Participation) and Capacity Building. SIL and SDA have their own specific funding categories. We can help you understand which parts of your plan apply.

Yes. We work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed, and self-managed participants. We’ll invoice according to your plan management type.

Quality & Safety

Yes. Montessori Care is a registered NDIS provider, which means we meet the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission’s standards for quality and safety.

All support workers complete mandatory training including first aid, manual handling, infection control, and safeguarding. Workers delivering complex or high-intensity supports receive additional clinical training and supervision.

We have clear incident reporting and escalation pathways. Any concerns are investigated promptly, and we work with you to resolve issues quickly. You can also raise concerns directly with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

We assign a small, consistent team of support workers to each participant. We avoid rotating rosters where possible, so you see the same faces and build real relationships.

Specific Services
