How Care Works

From first conversation to ongoing support, here’s what to expect when you choose Montessori Care.

Step by step process

1

Have a conversation

Call us on 1300 918 000 or fill out our enquiry form. We’ll ask a few questions to understand your situation, no pressure, no obligation.

This usually takes 10–15 minutes. We’ll ask about the type of care needed, where you live, and how care will be funded.

2

We assess your needs

A care coordinator visits your home (or calls) to understand your daily routine, preferences, and goals.

This is a relaxed conversation, not a clinical assessment. We want to know what matters to you, your routine, your hobbies, your concerns.

3

We match your carer

Based on your needs, personality, and preferences, we match you with a carer who’s the right fit.

We consider language, cultural background, interests, and availability. If the match doesn’t feel right, we’ll find someone else, no questions asked.

4

Care begins

Your carer starts visiting on the agreed schedule. We check in regularly to make sure everything is working well.

The first few visits are about building trust and getting to know each other. Your care plan is flexible and can be adjusted anytime.

5

Ongoing support

Your care coordinator stays in touch, reviews your plan regularly, and adjusts services as your needs change.

We don’t set and forget. As your needs evolve, your care plan evolves with you. Families are always kept in the loop.

All carers hold relevant qualifications, are police-checked, and receive ongoing training in the Montessori approach, manual handling, first aid, and dementia care.
