Montessori Care began with a conviction Chris and Mary Omeissah have held since childhood: that every person, at every age and every ability, is capable, worthy of respect and has something to give.

Both grew up caring for their elders and the people around them who needed help. It shaped who they became, and as parents they now watch the same instinct grow in their own children. Montessori Care was built to carry it further.

The belief has a proven foundation. For 25 years, Montessori Academy has used the Montessori philosophy to help more than 100,000 children grow into confident, independent learners, today across more than 70 centres. Montessori Care extends that same philosophy to older Australians and people living with a disability: put the person at the centre, support their independence, and treat care as a relationship that deepens over years.

It’s why our principles don’t bend with the times. Integrity, honesty, fairness, human dignity. We take a genuine interest in people. We remember names. We do the visible work and the invisible work with equal care, because we treat the people we serve the way we’d want our own family treated.

We rarely know what someone is carrying. Our work is to make life better regardless and to give people back independence, purpose and real connection.
